Your clothing, music, and foods, along with other factors such as religion, family structure, and values, are all part of your culture. Culture refers to the attitudes, values, customs, and behavior patterns that characterize a social group (Banks, 2001). The enormous impact of culture is illustrated by its influence on all aspects of our lives (Gollnick Chinn, 2002).
